Made for mountain sports and everyday cold-weather protection. Built from the ground up — our exclusive fabric, designed and developed to our exact specification. A bespoke merino blend with a honeycomb-structured double knit that traps warm air, wicks sweat and shields from cold.

Core-spun merino for natural insulation. Technical fibre reinforcement for strength, stretch and rapid drying. Double-layer knit for plush itch-free comfort against skin.

When to use— Winter climbing, skiing, mountaineering, alpinism and everyday cold-weather protection. Built for sustained exposure in severe cold where a standard neck gaiter isn’t enough.

Exclusive Jöttnar fabric — Unlike the Bifrost and Sifjord which use BUFF® ThermoNet®, the Ulfr uses a fabric designed and developed exclusively by Jöttnar. The honeycomb-structured double knit is built to a specific performance brief — not an off-the-shelf textile.

Core-spun merino— Core-spun construction wraps merino fibres around a technical polyester core. The merino provides natural insulation and next-to-skin softness; the polyester core (including PBT variant) adds strength, stretch, shape retention and faster drying.

Double-layer construction— Plush itch-free comfort against the skin. Minimal seams reduce bulk and irritation under layers. The double layer traps more air for warmth without adding significant weight.
