Versatile, lightweight, hooded, insulated layer for dynamic use.

40gsm recycled double-ripstop outer shell – light, durable and windproof.  Polartec® Alpha™ fleece inner, regulating temperature through advanced moisture management across fluctuating effort levels. PFC-free and PFAS-free durable water repellent finish.

A new fit sees improved hood and neck comfort, longer articulated sleeves for reach and a close-fitting peaked hood with aperture adjusters. Concealed,YKK® zipped hand pockets and YKK® zipped chest pocket. Full details and when to wear are below.

When to use— Stop-start activities. Trekking, climbing and skiing in variable conditions as a midlayer under a shell or standalone in dry cold. The hooded version of the Asger HS — adds a close-fitting under-helmet hood for when you need the extra coverage.

Polartec® Alpha®— What makes it different? Originally developed for Special Forces use, Alpha is engineered for stop-start activity where a standard jacket would either overheat on the go or chill on the rest. It actively exchanges air as effort levels change, eliminating the need to constantly add and remove layers.
