100% recycled windproof micro ripstop outer woven with Bureo® NetPlus® recycled fishing nets. Polartec® Alpha™ fleece inner — originally developed for Special Forces use — regulating temperature through advanced moisture management as effort levels fluctuate.

Harness-compatible hand pockets, secure chest pocket, stretch cuffs and articulated sleeves. Updated for 2026 with an improved regular fit. Full specifications and when to choose Asger HS is below.

When to use— Stop-start activities. Trekking, climbing and skiing in variable conditions as a midlayer under a shell or standalone in dry cold. The hoodless version of the Asger — removes the hood for a cleaner profile under a helmet and reduced bulk under a hardshell.

Polartec® Alpha™— What makes it different? Originally developed for Special Forces use, Alpha is engineered for stop-start activity where a standard jacket would either overheat on the go or chill on the rest. It actively exchanges air as effort levels change, eliminating the need to constantly add and remove layers.

NetPlus® outer— 20D outer woven from Bureo® NetPlus® reclaimed fishing nets. Windproof and water-repellent with a C0 PFC-free and PFAS-free DWR finish. More demanding recycled source than standard recycled nylon.

Alpha-lined collar— The Polartec® Alpha™ fleece extends into the collar, eliminating cold spots at the neck without adding a separate layer.

Weight— 249g. Stows easily in a pack.

Ethics & sustainability— 100% recycled Bureo® NetPlus® outer. PFC-free and PFAS-free DWR finish.
