Built on the same blended cotton construction as theTorv trouser, waxed and finished with a PFC-free DWR finish to repel light rain. Reinforced double-layer seat and twin-needle stitching throughout. A short that improves with use.

When to use— Trekking, travel and everyday wear in warm weather or mixed conditions where durability matters more than minimum weight. Equally at home in an alpine village as on the trail, with a clean, considered fit for off-mountain wear without sacrificing function on it.

Waxed cotton-blend; what it does— The waxed and DWR-finished fabric sheds wind, dirt and light rain. Unlike technical softshell, this waxed cotton-blend improves with wear and can be re-waxed to restore full performance over the life of the short.

Versus the Sunnan and Bjarg shorts— The Torv Short is heavier and more structured with sturdier fabric, reinforced seat, and more storage. Choose the Sunnan or Bjarg for output; choose the Torv Short for durability and character.
