Versus the Tol— A fundamentally different proposition: where the Tol is a lightweight synthetic softshell, the Torv is a waxed cotton-blend built for sheer resilience. Heavier and more structured, with greater durability.
Wax finish— The PFC-free DWR and wax coating sheds wind, dirt and light rain. It improves with use and can be re-waxed to restore full performance over the life of the trouser.
Pockets— The most extensively pocketed piece in the range: two hip hand pockets, two YKK-zipped thigh pockets, two large bellow pockets large neough for an OS map, and a rear zipped pocket. Everything accessible on the move.
Waist & ankle— Low-profile Velcro waist adjusters and belt loops. Press-stud ankle adjusters with internal boot hooks seal against snow and dirt ingress.
Reinforcement— Reinforced knees and seat for durability. Articulated knee patterning for freedom of movement on steep terrain.
