Description
Lightweight 150gsm merino tee for single and multi-day use, giving next-to-skin comfort, durability and performance.
87% extrafine merino, 13% core-spun nylon, giving better stretch and recovery, enhanced durability, and faster drying than merino alone. Temperature-regulating, naturally odour-resistant and suitable for multi-day use without washing. Core-spun construction adds stretch, durability and faster drying without compromising next-to-skin softness. Underarm panels, low-profile overlocked seams, dropped rear hem and UPF 40 sun protection.
When to use— Trail running and trekking as a standalone or baselayer. Active use and warm conditions rather than cold-weather insulation.
150gsm— weight class matters. 150gsm is at the lighter, more breathable end of the merino spectrum. Those looking for a warmer merino layer should consider the Heimdall baselayer. This is the warm-weather and high-output choice.
Multi-day use— Merino’s natural odour resistance means the Mar can be worn for multiple days without washing — practically useful on multi-day trips where carrying fewer items matters.
Core-spun nylon— 13% nylon is core-spun inside each yarn rather than blended at the fibre level. This adds structural strength and faster drying without the nylon touching skin — preserving the next-to-skin softness of pure merino.
UPF 40— Meaningful UV protection for open-terrain use where a lightweight tee is the only layer.
Ethics— all of our merino is non-mulesed
