Highly breathable, windproof, ultralight waterproof shell for fast-moving activity in changeable weather.

Only 250g of hardshell defence at a windshell weight. Built on Pertex® Shield 3-layer ripstop fabric with NetPlus® — 100% recycled fishing nets recovered from the ocean.  20,000mm waterproofing, mechanical stretch and fully taped seams. Packs into its own pocket.

When to use— Trail running, fell running, fast alpine approaches and trekking in changeable weather. The lightest waterproof shell in the Jöttnar range — for when weight on the move is the primary consideration. At 250g it stuffs into its own hand pocket and disappears into a vest or running pack. Close, athletic cut keeps bulk minimal.

Pertex® Shield Pro with NetPlus®— why the fabric source matters.The face fabric is made from 100% recycled fishing nets recovered from the ocean via the Bureo® NetPlus® programme. This is a more demanding and traceable standard than standard recycled nylon — the nets are recovered from fishing communities and fully certified to source. The 30D construction keeps weight minimal without sacrificing the 20,000mm waterproofing. Fully taped seams throughout means no weak points for water ingress.

Stretch— Mechanical 2-way stretch moves with the body, a meaningful distinction from stiffer woven shells.

Packability— Stuffs into its own hand pocket. At 250g it genuinely doesn’t register in a running vest or pack.

Hood & closures— Storm hood with mouldable peak. Pre-elasticated cuffs and low-profile hem adjusters. AquaGuard® waterproof zips throughout.

Visibility— Reflective chest and rear logos improve visibility in low light — for pre-dawn or post-dusk running.
